While trees sway slowly
in time with the lazy wind,
I walk through the woods
chasing lonely paths.
Shadows go along with me
and gently caress my skin
exhausted by the sun’s passion.

How long till the night comes?

I wait for the moon
to soothe my restlessness,
to cool down my inflamed soul.
I wait for the dark
to conceal the obscurity around me,
to cover the world of men
with infinite quietness.
