You
You
Your skin is moist like sand touched by the sea foam.
Your lips are like two coves.
Wave like the sea of words right in my ear.
You, shameless, and all that you said.
How many times have you lied to me, and I believed you?
I believed your every word and would listen more!
I wouldn't tire of listening but lies easily slip past your lips.
You will cheat and leave.
I will stay listening to the echo of your words.
It will ring from your lips like a shell pressed to the ear.
I will look at the sea foam disappearing with the bubbles in the sand.
The night will spread a blanket of stars over the clear sky.
To watch one another.
To hide and seek.
To shine and fade like the last star.
Until the dawn and the first sun that breaks through the crown of our tree.
In the midday haze lie each other.
And lick wounds like injured dogs.
